Ibises, spoonbills and flamingo’s need, depending on the season, 20-40 g feed/kg body weight each day. In winter birds will need more feed compared to spring or summer, this is mainly due to the higher maintenance requirements and the absence of natural feed additions (insects, algae, buds, grass or seeds) in winter. We recommend offering the food dry. Due to the extrusion process, the pellets do keep their shape in water. As a result, the pellets can also be given floating or soaked in water.
