Feeding Guide & Defrosting Instructions This product is intended strictly as a feeder animal for carnivores and must not be used for human consumption or as live prey. General Guidelines As Part of a Varied Diet: Although rabbit is an excellent and lean source of protein, we recommend feeding this product as part of a varied diet (alternating with rodents or poultry, for example) to prevent nutritional deficiencies. Portion Size: The 200-600g weight class is ideal as a complete meal for medium-sized predators. Always adjust the exact portion to the energy requirements, age, and activity level of the specific animal. Hygiene, Defrosting, and Feeding Defrosting: Ideally, defrost the rabbit slowly in the refrigerator (in a closed container) or at room temperature. Never defrost in a microwave or using hot water, as this can alter the bone structure and destroy essential nutrients. Serving: Feed at room temperature. Any remains that are not consumed within a few hours should be removed and discarded immediately. Never refreeze after thawing. Hygiene: Wash your hands, utensils, and the feeding area thoroughly with warm water and soap after contact with the feeder animal to prevent cross-contamination.
